Microsoft’s endless stream of great ideas
Microsoft lets OEMs add bloatware and trash to your PC before you buy it (Google lets wireless carriers do this with Android too). Consumers generally hate this stuff. It slows your computer down and takes up space. Now you get the opportunity to pay Microsoft $99 to fix a problem they created.
Maybe if they can get enough people to do this they will raise enough money to include DVD playback again in Windows?
(do I even need to mention that Apple doesn’t allow bloatware on its computers, phones, and tablets?)
